Dr. CARA WHITTAKER

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read through my page.

I'm a registered psychologist based in Edinburgh, and work from a number of locations across the city. I am originally from South Africa, but have been in the UK since 2016.

I strongly believe in therapy being a collaborative process, and actively work to foster an environment where people feel heard and empowered. I strive to draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet the individual needs and experiences of each client. It is particularly important to me to be able to work in a trauma-informed way, being conscious of the impact events and experiences can have across multiple areas of our life. ​
